Auto Tool
Selects the fastest hotbar tool for the block being mined.

Auto Tool compares the available hotbar tools against the targeted block and switches to the best mining option when its activation conditions pass.
Timing controls when the switch begins. Swap controls decide whether the visible slot changes and what happens when mining ends.

Requires the mining action to remain active for this long before selecting a tool.
Hover delay
Waits after the crosshair moves onto a block before that block can trigger a tool choice.
Conditions
Only while crouching
Requires the sneak input before Auto Tool can switch.
Require Left mouse
Requires the attack button rather than switching from a hover alone.
Swap
Switch back when done
Returns to the slot that was selected before Auto Tool took control.
Override swap back
While Auto Tool controls the slot, scrolling or selecting another slot changes where it returns when mining ends instead of changing tools immediately.
Spoof item
Keeps the previous held-item model visible while Auto Tool has another hotbar slot selected.
