Backtrack

Delays target updates so an earlier player position remains attackable.

Overview

Backtrack delays inbound updates while a nearby opponent is moving away. This keeps their displayed position closer for a limited time, giving you another chance to hit them.

Because the inbound queue also delays other server updates, the module releases it when its limit or safety conditions are reached. The indicator shows where the target would be without the delay.

Timing

Target distance

Sets the farthest target distance at which Backtrack may begin. Valen starts the delay only while the target is moving away and is more than 3 blocks away.

Maximum delay

Caps the age of held updates. Higher values create a larger separation between delayed and real positions.

Maximum hurt time

Sets the highest remaining damage cooldown the target may have while Backtrack starts or remains active.

Cooldown

Waits after a release before another Backtrack window can start.
