Nametags

Replaces player labels with configurable health, distance, armor, and item details.

Overview

Nametags draws a readable player label at distance and can attach combat information that vanilla labels omit. Appearance, displayed details, and target inclusion are separate so the label can stay minimal or become a full equipment readout.

Appearance

Scale

Sets the base label size.

Font

Selects the label typeface.

Auto Scale

Adjusts label size with distance so far players remain readable without making nearby labels oversized.

Text Shadow

Adds contrast behind label text.

Background

Draws a surface behind the label.

Background Opacity

Controls the transparency of that surface.

Background Border

Adds an edge around the background.

Details

Only render name

Hides every optional detail and leaves only the player name.

Show Health

Adds current health to the label.

Health display

Shows health as Hearts or as the raw Health value.

Show Heart Symbol

Adds a heart glyph to the health value.

Show Distance

Adds the distance between you and the player.

Show Armor

Renders the player’s equipped armor and held item.

Show Enchantments

Adds abbreviated enchantments to displayed equipment.

Show Durability

Adds remaining durability to displayed equipment.

Targets

Show Invis

Includes invisible players.

Show Yourself

Includes your own player model in third person.

Hide Vanilla

Suppresses Minecraft’s original nametag where the custom one is used.

Friend color

Sets the name color for detected friends and teammates.

Enemy color

Sets the name color for other valid players.
